Dear Friends and Customers,

I hope you’re keeping well and happy. I have some important news to share.

As you all know I have been running my little jewellery studio for over 20 years with a lot of joy and passion. But after much reflection, I have decided it is time to stop doing the in person events .

I will still be running the website and the teaching studio, but being sensible I no longer have the stamina to do the markets / shows and in particular outdoor and longer events. my final event is The Guildhall, York 3rd December to 15th December 2024

The challenges of competing for customers against the factory made imported jewellery (frequently being purported to be made in England / Yorkshire) has also become more than irritating!

Creating jewellery and sharing it with you has been my joy and will continue to be so but on a smaller scale. Your support and loyalty have meant the world to me, and I am profoundly grateful to each and every one of you, not only for your support but for your friendly chat, companionship and the new friends I have made through this medium. I’m also going to miss my completely bonkers but much beloved ‘Made in Yorkshire’ Family.

As I prepare for this new chapter, I will be offering an amount of the jewellery collection at significant discounts as a small token of appreciation. This will be the general sales stock not the bespoke 50 hours working into the night at the bench pieces just yet , but the pieces that need find new homes and go out into the world of sunshine.

I see this farewell as a beautiful transition, an opportunity to embrace the chance to make more unique time consuming pieces, new beginnings with hope and positivity whilst enjoying the luxury of access to an indoor flushing loo (as opposed queuing for a working one in York city centre LOL )

Thank you for your understanding, compassion, and support. You have enriched my life and work in ways I will always cherish. Though this is a farewell to the events, it is not a goodbye, but a transition into a new phase of life. and if you are missing either me or the jewellery, buy on line at www.DianeLeeSilver.co.uk or come and make your own at the Teaching studio, Bishop Burton.

With all my love and gratitude
